The 30-a area is notoriously beautiful and known for its artistic festivals, fine dining, and shopping. There are 4 state parks and 1 state forest in southern Walton County: Deer Lake State Park, Camp Helen State Park, Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Grayton Beach State Park, Point Washington State Forest.

Streetscape views of Greenway Park include cobble streets shaded by 142 live oaks. The entrance is fully landscaped with azales, palms, dogwoods, and magnolias. A closed circuit video monitoring system is installed at the entrance to provide security.
Pool
The pool garden features a bath house, a 460 sq. ft arbor, and a full outdoor gas grilling area.
Greenway
Greenways are used to incorporate preserved land in the community. Greenway Park maintains a 3.7 acre greenway to act as a wetland buffer to the adjoining state forest. A crushed recycled concrete trail meandors through this easement to provide recreational walking and biking opportunites.
